About This Game

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” a 2003 Game Boy Advance video game, is based on the popular TV series of the same year. It integrates traditional side-scrolling platform elements with unique minigames tailored to each Turtle’s special abilities. Players choose one of the four Ninja Turtles, each with distinct skills and a set of four acts to complete. Leonardo has the ability to crawl through small spaces and partakes in a rail shooter minigame on the hovercraft Sewer Slider. Michelangelo is capable of wall-jumping and navigates a skateboard through sewers. Donatello can climb pipes and engages in a shoot ’em up with a hang glider, while Raphael, who can climb walls with his sai, participates in a motorcycle race against Casey Jones. The plot begins with the Turtles dealing with an attack on their new home by Mouser Robots, traced back to Baxter Stockman’s factory. After saving April O’Neil, tensions between Michelangelo and Raphael lead Raphael to the surface, where he encounters thugs and meets Casey Jones. The adventure escalates with the introduction of invisible Foot Tech Ninjas developed by Stockman, prompting the Turtles to rescue Raphael and adapt to these new threats with technology. The game culminates in a final assault on the Foot Headquarters, where players confront Hun and ultimately battle The Shredder. This game was also released in a double pack with its sequel, “TMNT 2: Battle Nexus.”
