You need to be quick or Sonic loses rings fast, like in a movie where keeping speed is the only way to stay safe. Labyrinthy Place is close and tight like a puzzle where a camera follows Sonic. If Sonic goes too high and then falls, he’s in trouble. Unreal Place is another tricky labyrinth. Hit a block, and Sonic floats, so you can only move him left and right. Checkpoints help you not start over and there are Chaos Emeralds to collect. In Scar Night Place, Eggman shows off a machine that makes bombs. This zone starts with ring collecting and a new boss battle where you have to wait for the bad guy to explode itself. The second part of this level gets intense as walls become dangerous. Sonic can control gravity now and needs to carefully navigate through a maze filled with traps. Finally, Finalor Place is the last stop with the toughest boss yet. Sonic must dodge crushing walls and exploding balls, and once you beat this, there’s an escape scene to wrap the adventure.
