Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom is a side-scrolling platform video game developed and published by Tecmo. In this game, Ryu seeks to uncover the truth behind the death of Irene Lew. Gameplay involves classic platforming elements where Ryu can jump, climb, and hang from walls and other structures like pipes or ivy, enhancing his navigational abilities. A new mechanic in this sequel allows Ryu to spring off walls by pressing the jump button while pushing the control pad in the opposite direction of the wall.
