However, upon finding him, Ryu becomes entangled in a complex plot involving demonic statues and their dark powers. After being kidnapped and released by a mysterious woman who gives him one of these statues, Ryu meets Walter and learns about the demon Jashin, previously defeated by “SHINOBI,” and the existence of “Light” and “Shadow” demon statues. The plot thickens when a masked figure steals the Shadow statue from Walter’s cabin. Ryu manages to retrieve it, but upon returning, he finds Walter mortally wounded and the Light statue missing. The situation escalates further when armed men appear, signaling deeper intrigue. “Ninja Gaiden” is celebrated for its challenging gameplay, intricate plot, and as a pioneering title in the action-platform genre.
