“Gekido Advance: Kintaro’s Revenge” is a beat ’em up game developed by the Italian studio NAPS Team for the Game Boy Advance. The game follows the story of Tetsuo, a martial artist who returns to his sensei’s house and is soon sent to investigate mysterious occurrences in a remote farming village. As the plot unfolds, Tetsuo discovers that the village has been plagued by supernatural phenomena ever since the old temple nearby was taken over by demons. The situation worsens when Tetsuo, after consulting with the temple’s old guardian, returns to find the village under attack. A dying villager cryptically blames the assault on “…ravens…” and reports that all the children in the village have mysteriously disappeared.
