Galactic Marine is a fan-made game based on Metroid, created by Srarokz. Here’s what’s happening: a place called the Galactic Federation outpost “Snowball” is on a super cold ice planet. Scientists are there to study how extreme cold affects the animals living on the planet. Hidden somewhere under the ice is a mysterious facility, but nobody really knows what’s inside. Then, Space Pirates show up and attack the outpost. They want to find that secret facility and take whatever is hidden there. In the game, you play as a Galactic Federation Marine, the only one left after the attack. Your job is to find and protect the important research stuff from falling into the Pirates’ hands. The famous Hunter, who usually helps in these situations, is busy on another mission, and you’re on your own for now—let’s hope she gets the distress call before it’s too late. As the Marine, you’re not as powerful as the Hunter, so you need to use all the tools and tricks you have to fight off the Space Pirates and complete your mission.
